About Me

“Healing takes time, and asking for help is a courageous step.” — Mariska Hargitay

Hi! My name is Jaimee Beck, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (#17984) with a Master of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology. I am the owner and operator of Prism Path Counseling. I have been practicing as a therapist since 2020, licensed since 2024. As a neurodivergent member of the LGBTQ+ community, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience into my work, creating a space that is affirming, collaborative, and grounded in authenticity.

My clinical interests include supporting individuals navigating LGBTQ+ identities, neurodivergence, life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma (including PTSD and CPTSD), and recovery from domestic violence and abuse. I also work with couples, helping partners build healthier communication patterns, strengthen emotional connection, and navigate challenges with greater understanding and care.

My approach is eclectic and client-centered, primarily rooted in talk therapy while integrating mindfulness and somatic techniques to support whole-person healing. I strive to meet each client where they are, tailoring the therapeutic process to their unique needs, goals, and strengths.

I believe therapy should honor the full complexity of your experience, including the ways systems, relationships, and internal narratives have shaped you. Together, we will work toward greater self-understanding, self-trust, and a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are.

Above all, my goal is to offer a space where you can feel free to show up as your whole self.
